Eco Friendly Ganesh Murti

Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation and Shree Aniruddha's universal Bank of Ramnaam makes eco-friendly Ganesh murti's since past 5 years.

This year, the volunteers of the trust have made a 7ft tall Ganesh Idol for Big 92.7FM (shown in the pic below) totally from paper pulp.

These idols are made from shredded paper of ‘Ramnaam’ notebooks used by the devotees who write Ramnaam and deposit the notebooks in the organization Aniruddha’s Universal Bank of Ramnaam (AUBR).

These idols disintegrate easily upon submersion as compared to idols made from plaster-of-paris.

A notable aspect is that, paints used are non-toxic, thus controlling pollution immensely
In the first year, trusts have made 335 idols, and in previous year (5th year) the trusts have made almost 4000 Ganesh Idols from paper pulp
